      紫阳县茶业协会成立于1999年9月,经紫阳县民政局批准并注册登记,具有社团法人资格的行业性社会团体,是本县从事茶叶生产、加工、经营、科技研究与技术推广,相关产业管理机构组成的非营利性社会团体。目前有个人会员1960人,团体会员30个。协会下设有市场管理部、质量检测监督部、科技开发部、营销宣传部和协会办公室五个工作机构。协会已取得 “紫阳富硒茶”证明商标的使用权,对加入协会的会员,即生产、经营企业按照协会《章程》和《紫阳富硒茶证明商标使用管理规则》,遵循“自愿、自律、合法”的原则,并经协会审查合格,许可使用“紫阳富硒茶”品牌,并接受协会的监督管理。

协会职责在于:加快紫阳县茶业经济发展,促进紫阳富硒茶产业化进程;规范茶叶市场,维护茶农和茶叶企业合法权益;加强行业自律,规范行业管理,提高紫阳富硒茶在市场上的竞争力,实现强县富民目标为宗旨。团结全县及县外从事紫阳富硒茶开发的业内人士,积极贯彻党和国家的方针政策,在行业内发挥桥梁纽带、业务咨询、协调管理、规范行规、监督指导作用。着眼做强做大紫阳富硒茶品牌,促进茶产业持续健康发展,为本会员单位及个人提供协调服务,反映茶业行业的愿望和要求,依法保护本行业的合法权益,努力促进科技与生产流通,强化企业管理,促进产业经营,强化宣传和弘扬茶文化,扩大国内外市场,全面促进紫阳富硒茶产业快速发展。

陕西省紫阳富硒茶业有限公司是由紫阳县茶叶研究所、紫阳县盘龙天然富硒绿茶有限公司等13家骨干经营企业自愿参股组建的股份制龙头企业。公司被国家扶贫办认定为第一批国家扶贫龙头企业。该公司具有独立的法人资格,注册资本金888万元。2010年加工经营茶叶951吨,实现销售收入10046.96万元,利税1787.31万元。近年来,公司全力打造紫阳富硒茶品牌,发挥龙头企业带动作用,利用好田好地新建无性系茶叶精品示范园2万亩,培育认证有机茶园2.7万亩。建设清洁化茶叶加工厂14个,标准化茶叶初制厂53个。实施了品牌、包装、质量、标准、宣传“五统一”管理,全力打造“春独早”紫阳富硒茶品牌,积极推行连锁经营,在全国建立连锁店100余家。已取得了地理标志产品、证明商标、QS、ISO9000和有机茶等认证,获得了省名牌产品、中国名茶之乡称号。2010年1月,由农业部信息中心,中国品牌农业网、浙江大学农业品牌研究中心联合完成的全国各地主要农产品区域公用品牌价值评估,“紫阳富硒茶”以公用品牌价值7.04亿元跻身中国农产品区域公用品牌排行榜百强; 同年,由浙江大学CARD农业品牌研究中心和《中国茶叶》杂志(受国家农业部委托)对全国113个茶叶区域品牌价值进行评估,在首次发布的全国83个茶叶区域公用品牌价值排行榜当中,“紫阳富硒茶”再次以9.6亿元的品牌评估价值跻身中国茶叶区域公用品牌排行榜二十强,位居西部地区茶叶类公用品牌价值第一名。同年,“春独早”荣获陕西省著名商标。
